The weekend of April 14th – 15th, 2007 has been designated as the 17th Annual Worldwide Weekend of Prayer and Fasting organized by the “Just Pray NO!” nonprofit corporation. Over the past sixteen years we have had intercessors praying to break bondages and to pull down the strongholds of addiction from every state in the United States and from six continents.
Not only is substance abuse America's number one health problem, the devastation of alcoholism and other drug addiction has impacted families and communities worldwide. Substance abuse has been directly linked to violence and sexual immorality and is a major source of income for organized crime and terrorist activities. The “War on Drugs” directly impacts the “War on Terrorism!”
We are again seeking individuals and groups which are willing to commit to pray weekly on behalf of the addicted and their families, and then join with millions of other committed Christians from around the world in prayer and fasting during the weekend of April 14th – 15th, 2007.
